Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
2 c. cider vinegar
1/3 c. salt
1 tsp. celery seed
3 qt. sliced cucumbers (8 to 10)
3 onions
Preparation

Bring sugar, vinegar, salt, celery seed and mustard seed to a boil.
Remove from heat and let cool.
Slice cucumbers and onions.
Add cooled liquid.
Marinate in refrigerator at least 24 hours.
Pour into pint jars with tight fitting lids.
Store in refrigerator.
