Kate'S Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 qt. unbuttered popcorn
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
Preparation
    Spread freshly popped corn in roasting pan.
    Preheat oven to 250\u00b0.
    Combine sugar, butter, syrup and salt in a saucepan.
    Bring to a boil, firm ball stage.
    Add baking soda.
    Pour over popcorn. Stir well and place in oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
    Stir every 15 minutes.
    Store in airtight container.
