7 Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, shredded
    3 to 4 boiled eggs, diced
    1 arm celery, diced
    1 c. bell pepper, diced
    1 lb. bacon, fried and crumbled
    1 c. English peas
    2 1/2 c. mayonnaise mixed with 2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Layer first 6 ingredients in 9 x 10-inch or 10 x 12-inch glass dish.
    Spread mayonnaise mixture over top of all as if icing a cake.
    Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
