Hot Pepper Jelly - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 hot banana peppers
    1 green bell pepper
    6 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. yellow vinegar
    2 pkg. Certo (1 box)
    green or red food coloring
Preparation
    Clean and remove seeds.
    Put peppers in blender with 1 cup of the vinegar and mix until fine.
    Put pepper mixture into pan with 6 1/2 cups sugar. Add remaining vinegar.
    Cook until boiling and slow boil for 10 minutes. Wipe off skim using wooden spoon.
    Add the Certo and stir.
    Add red or green food coloring.
    Boil 1 minute.
    Put in jars and seal.
