Cottage Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 pt. stock or water
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 lb. cooked ground meat
    1 lb. potatoes
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    milk
Preparation
    Fry onion and first 2 tablespoons of butter.
    Stir in flour. Add stock gradually until mixture thickens.
    Season.
    Add meat. Place mixture in well-greased pie dish.
    Boil potatoes.
    Mash with remaining margarine and milk.
    Spread over meat mixture. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Serves 3 to 4.
