Orange Nut Bread - cooking recipe

2 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
3/4 c. sugar
2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. soda
3/4 c. chopped walnuts
1 Tbsp. grated orange peel
1 beaten egg
3/4 c. orange juice
2 Tbsp. salad oil
Preparation

Sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and soda. Stir in the walnuts and orange peel.
Mix egg, orange juice and oil.
Add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened.
Pour into greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch loaf dish.
Bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for 55 minutes or until done.
Remove from pan; cool on rack.
Wrap and store overnight.
