Ron Militello'S Italian Spaghetti - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. olive oil
    1/2 c. (1 medium size) onion, chopped
    1 lb. pork steaks or pork chops
    7 c. tomato sauce
    1 tsp. sweet basil
    1 tsp. crushed oregano
    1/2 c. sugar (brown or regular)
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Set out a large saucepot having a tight fitting cover.
    Heat the olive oil in the saucepot.
    Add onion and cook until lightly browned.
    Add meat to the saucepot and cook, turning occasionally until browned.
    Remove and slice the pork from the bone and cut into bite-size pieces.
    Return the pork to the saucepot.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Cover and simmer over very low heat.
