Teriyaki Shish Kebabs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. ketchup
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. soy sauce
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. ground ginger
2 lb. boneless beef sirloin (1 1/2 inches thick), cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes
1/2 lb. pineapple chunks
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
1/2 lb. white onion
1 large green or red pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
Preparation

Combine the first 5 ingredients; toss with beef.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Drain beef, reserving marinade.
Thread meat, pineapple and vegetables alternately on long skewers.
Grill over hot coals for 15 to 20 minutes, turning often or until meat reaches desired doneness and vegetables are tender.
Simmer the marinade in a small saucepan over low heat for 15 minutes.
Remove meat and vegetables from skewers; serve with marinade.
Yields 6 to 8 servings.
