Freezer Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. cucumber slices
    2 sliced onions
    2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. vinegar
    1 1/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Combine cucumber slices.
    Remove peel.
    Mix with onions and salt; let stand for 2 hours.
    (Pickling cucumbers work well.) Heat vinegar and add sugar.
    Let cool.
    Drain excess liquid from standing cucumbers.
    Pour sugar vinegar mixture over cucumber slices.
    Mix together and pack in freezer containers.
    Freeze. Allow to age for at least 2 weeks before defrosting and using.
