Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sirloin steak, cut in very thin strips
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    1 1/2 c. water
    2 medium onions
    2 medium bell peppers
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    salt and pepper to taste
    mushrooms and celery, if you choose
Preparation
    Brown meat in oil about 5 minutes and drain.
    Add soy sauce and water, simmer 10 minutes.
    Add onions, celery and peppers, cut in length-wise strips.
    Simmer 5 minutes.
    Add mushrooms, salt and pepper and cook until tender.
    Thicken with cornstarch.
    Serve over rice.
