Sun Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 1/2 c. water
    3 1/4 c. white vinegar
    2/3 c. pickling salt
    bud of garlic, crushed
    3 plus sprigs dill
    1 gal. jar
    50 (approximately) 4-inch pickles
Preparation
    Put dill and garlic in the jar.
    Mix water, vinegar and salt well; pour over pickles until full in jar.
    Cover.
    Set in sun for 2 days.
    Store in refrigerator.
