Overnight-Layered Green Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium head lettuce
1/2 c. thinly sliced green onions
1 c. thinly sliced celery
1 can sliced water chestnuts
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
2 c. mayonnaise
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
3 hard-cooked eggs
1/2 to 3/4 c. crumbled chopped crisp-fried bacon
2 medium tomatoes in wedges
Preparation

Shred lettuce and place in shallow serving dish (9 x 13-inch). Top with green onions, celery and water chestnuts.
Open frozen peas, break peas apart and sprinkle over layers.
Spread mayonnaise evenly over top and sprinkle with sugar, Parmesan cheese, seasoning salt and garlic powder (mix these 4 ingredients together).
Cover and chill overnight.
Before serving, sprinkle with 3 hard-cooked eggs and chopped and crumbled bacon.
Cut tomatoes in wedges and place over the top.
