Teriyaki Steak Barbecue Marinade(And Beef Kabobs) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 oz.) bottle soy sauce
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 whole minced garlic
    1 medium onion, minced, or 2/3 c. (green, too, if bunched onions)
    1/2 tsp. celery salt
    1/2 tsp. m.s.g. (may be omitted)
    1 tsp. meat tenderizer
    2 tsp. ground or grated ginger
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients well until sugar is dissolved.
    Allow to stand 15 minutes.
    Marinate meat for 1 to 2 hours.
    More time gives more flavor.
