Jambalaya - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    1 c. chopped green onion tops
    1 lb. sliced smoked sausage or Polish sausage
    1 lb. ham, in bite size chunks
    16 oz. canned tomatoes
    6 oz. tomato paste
    1 1/4 tsp. oregano
    1 1/4 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper or 1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
    1 lb. shrimp or oysters or crawfish
    Creole seafood seasoning
    black pepper
    garlic powder
Preparation
    Saute onions, celery, green peppers and onion tops.
    Add ham and sausage.
    Cook 5 minutes.
    Add rest except shrimp.
    Cover pan and cook.
    Season shrimp with Creole seasoning, black pepper and garlic powder.
    Add shrimp and cook 5 minutes more.
    Serve over cooked rice.
