Basic French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, beaten slightly
    2/3 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    8 slices bread
    butter or oleo
    small amount sugar
Preparation
    Combine 1st 3 ingredients.
    Dip bread in this mixture and brown each side on a well-buttered griddle or skillet.
    Serve hot. May sprinkle with sugar.
