Microwave Vanilla Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch or 1/3 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In a 2-quart mixing bowl, blend sugar, cornstarch or flour and salt.
    Add milk, stirring until well mixed.
    Microwave at High for 8 to 12 minutes or until thick, stirring with wire whip 3 or 4 times.
    Stir some hot mixture into egg yolks.
    Blend egg yolk mixture into remaining hot mixture.
    Microwave at High for 1 minute.
    Blend in butter and vanilla, stirring until butter melts. Pour into baked pie crusts.
    Place plastic wrap or waxed paper on top until cool to prevent skin from forming.
