1 c. tender thin-flaked coconut
1/2 c. finely cut dates
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 well-beaten egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix the first

ingredients well, then add the beaten egg and vanilla; blend.
Let stand 5 minutes, then drop from a teaspoon onto greased
baking sheet.
Bake 15 minutes or until golden brown at
350\u00b0.
Remove

sheet. Makes 1 1/2 dozen.
