Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    2/3 c. shortening
    1 3/4 c. pumpkin
    4 eggs, beaten
    2/3 c. water
    3 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add pumpkin, eggs and water. Sift together dry ingredients.
    Add to mixture.
    Add nuts and blend well.
    Pour into pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for one hour.
    Yields 3 loaves.
