Persimmon Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. persimmon pulp
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add egg and pulp.
    Sift all dry ingredients together and add to mixture.
    Add raisins and nuts. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
