Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe

1 (8 oz.) pkg. macaroni
2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
2 Tbsp. chopped onion
1 egg, beaten
2 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. paprika
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Grease a 2-quart casserole.
Prepare macaroni according to package instructions.
Drain macaroni and layer half of it in bottom of dish.
Top with half the cheese and half of onion.
Repeat layers.
Combine the egg, evaporated milk and salt in mixing bowl.
Pour it over the macaroni.
Sprinkle with paprika and dot with butter.
Bake 40 minutes.
Let set 10 minutes before serving.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
