Cucumber Pickle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. large cucumbers, sliced crosswise
    1 gal. water
    1 c. lime
    1/2 gal. vinegar
    8 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. pickle spices
Preparation
    Soak cucumbers in
    water
    and lime for 24 hours.
    Rinse and soak in clear
    water
    3
    hours.
    Put in vinegar, sugar and salt. Put in
    bag celery seed, cloves and pickle spices.\tLet cucumbers stand in
    this overnight.
    Next morning, cook for 30 minutes and can.
