Pear Honey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 lb. pears
    5 lb. sugar
    juice of 3 lemons
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
Preparation
    Peel pear and grind.
    Combine pears, sugar and lemon juice in large saucepan.
    Mix well.
    Cook over medium heat until mixture is thick and clear, stirring often.
    Add pineapple.
    Mix thoroughly. Cook for 10 minutes more.
    Pack in hot jars and seal.
    Makes 12 pints.
