Skillet Custard Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter
1 1/3 c. yellow cornmeal
1/3 c. plain flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking soda
4 Tbsp. sugar
1 1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Heat oven to 400\u00b0. Melt butter in iron skillet or baking pan in oven.
Sift cornmeal, flour, soda, salt and sugar in mixing bowl.
Stir in 1 cup of milk, eggs and buttermilk.
Pour into skillet, then pour other cup of milk over mixture.
Do not stir. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
