Cabbage Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage
    1 large onion
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. celery salt
    1 c. Wesson oil
Preparation
    Shred cabbage with knife.
    Cut onions in rings.
    Layer cabbage and onion.
    In medium saucepan, bring vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper and celery salt to a boil.
    Remove from heat, add oil.
    Stir to mix.
    Pour over cabbage and onion.
    Cover with Saran Wrap; immediately refrigerate for 24 hours.
