Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. whole kernel corn
    2 c. chopped onion
    2 c. chopped green bell peppers
    6 Tbsp. butter, divided
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 qt. milk
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 c. heavy cream
    crab meat (optional)
Preparation
    Saute corn, onion and green peppers in 4 tablespoons of butter for 5 minutes.
    Sprinkle with the flour and mix well.
    Slowly add milk.
    Cook until thickened.
    Simmer 20 minutes.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Add 1 cup cream and 2 tablespoons of butter just before serving.
