Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. yellow squash
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 large sweet green bell pepper, chopped
    4 large eggs, beaten
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
    1/2 lb. Cheddar or American Kraft cheese, grated
    48 Ritz crackers
    1 tsp. sugar
    2 tsp. seasoned salt
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 lb. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Cook
    squash without salt until tender; drain and mash. Braise onion
    and pepper in half of the butter.
    Crush 24 Ritz crackers and
    add
    to
    the
    squash.\tAdd
    onion
    and pepper to square mixture.
    Add
    grated cheese and mix well.\tAdd seasonings and mix.
    Add
    cream
    and mix.\tBeat eggs well and add to mixture. Put
    in
    casserole\tdish.
    Mix
    24 more crushed Ritz crackers with remaining butter (melted) and sprinkle on top of casserole.
    Bake in a 300\u00b0 oven for 50 minutes or until light brown.
    This makes one large or 2 small casseroles.
