Moose Steak Sauerbraten - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. steak, cut in cubes
    1 Tbsp. fat
    1 envelope brown gravy mix
    2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. dry minced onion
    2 Tbsp. white vinegar
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice or ginger
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    Brown meat in fat.
    Take meat out.
    Add water and gravy mix and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Add remainder of ingredients, along with meat.
    Cover and simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
