Scotch Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    3 egg yolks
    1 c. sour milk
    2 cans pie filling
Preparation
    Put all ingredients together and mix as pie dough.
    Grease large size cookie sheet.
    Roll between wax paper 1/2 of the dough and arrange in cookie sheet and up sides.
    Add pie filling of your choice.
    Roll second half
    and put on top, sealing all sides. Beat whites from 1 egg and spread on top.
    Add ground nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes and 45 minutes at 300\u00b0 (1 hour in all).
