Apricot Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. dry quick oats
    3/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. apricot preserves or jam
    1 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Combine the flour, baking powder, brown sugar and oats; cut in butter.
    Pat 2/3 of mixture into an ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan. Spread with preserves, mixed with water.
    Cover with remaining crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Cool and cut into bars.
