Chow-Chow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 lb. cabbage chopped
    24 peppers
    3 lb. onions
    3 lb. sugar
    1 qt. vinegar
    2 tsp celery seed
    2 tsp mustard seed
    2 tsp turmeric
    1 handful salt
Preparation
    Mix cabbage, peppers, onions together with salt.
    Let set two hours.
    Mix other ingredients, pour over cabbage and let simmer 20 minutes.
