Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    1 c. shortening
    2 tsp. lemon flavoring
    4 c. plain flour
    4 eggs
    4 tsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Combine shortening and sugar; beat until creamy.
    Then add eggs, one at a time.
    Add lemon flavoring and milk.
    Beat and add the flour.
    Add pinch of salt.
    Beat until smooth.
    Cook at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done.
