Ingredients

3 sq. unsweetened baking chocolate
1 stick butter or margarine
3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
Preparation

Melt chocolate and butter.
Blend in sugar and salt.
Slowly stir in milk.
Cook until hot, stirring constantly, but do not bring to boil.
(I usually start to add milk alternately with the sugar after adding a couple cups of sugar.)
