Cajun Spaghetti - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. smoked sausage
1 lb. Jimmy Dean sausage
1 onion
1 bell pepper
4 garlic cloves
2 jalapeno peppers (no seeds)
1 (28 oz.) can whole stewed tomatoes, crush or chop
1 (14 oz.) can whole tomatoes, crush or chop
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
2 cans non-fat chicken broth
1 jar sliced mushrooms, drained
1 lb. your favorite spaghetti noodles
1 c. shredded Mozzarella
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Brown in nonstick pan separately ground beef, smoked sausage and Jimmy Dean sausage.
Chop onion, bell pepper, garlic cloves and jalapeno peppers.
Saute vegetables in olive oil and Creole seasoning.
In large nonstick cooker with lid over medium heat, put stewed tomatoes, whole tomatoes, tomato sauce and chicken broth. Bring heat to medium-high and add meat, mushrooms and vegetables. Let mixture come to a bubble.
Take spaghetti noodles and break into thirds.
When mixture begins to boil, slowly add noodles. When everything is in cooker, cover and cook on medium heat for 5 minutes.
Every 5 minutes turn stove down one notch and cook for 5 more minutes.
Total cooking should be around 30 minutes.
Stir occasionally.
When finished, cover mixture with Mozzarella and Cheddar cheese.
Cover and let stand for 10 minutes.
Great with garlic bread and salad.
