Candied Yams - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium sweet potatoes
    1 c. brown sugar
    dash of salt
    1 Tbsp. flour
    dash of cloves
    1/4 c. water
    dash of nutmeg
    3/4 stick butter
    2 slices lemon
Preparation
    Peel potatoes and cut up like French fries.
    Place in baking dish.
    Cover with first 5 ingredients.
    Add butter.
    Twist slices of lemon and add lemon peel.
    Add water and bake at 400\u00b0 for about 1 hour.
    Baste often.
