Wild Rice Chicken Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box Uncle Ben's long grain and wild rice (long cooking, not 5 minute)
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chicken broth
    1/4 c. melted butter
    1/3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 c. half and half
    3 Tbsp. slivered almonds
    2 c. cooked cubed chicken
    1/3 c. chopped pimento
    1/3 c. chopped parsley
Preparation
    Cook rice according to directions on package.
    Saute onion in melted butter.
    Blend in flour, salt and pepper.
    Gradually stir in half and half and chicken broth.
    Cook until thick.
    Mix sauce with chicken, pimento, parsley and almonds.
    Bake 45 minutes, uncovered, at 425\u00b0.
