Potato Soup With Butterballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, chopped
    5 large potatoes, diced
    2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. water
    3 c. milk
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook onion and potatoes in water, boiling gently.
    Keep covered for 15 minutes
    or
    until
    potatoes
    are tender.
    Mash potatoes and onions.
    Add milk and seasonings.
    Heat slowly to serving temperature,
    stirring
    occasionally to prevent sticking. Add butterballs to thicken slightly.
