Chili For A Crowd - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. ground chuck
    1 chopped onion
    2 cloves chopped garlic
    2 to 3 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 1/2 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. basil
    1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
    1 tsp. ground cumin
    2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 cans tomatoes
    2 cans tomato sauce
    1 can tomato paste
    3 cans kidney beans, drained
Preparation
    Brown beef.
    Add spices.
    Stir in tomatoes, sauce and paste, sugar and salt.
    Bring to boiling; simmer slowly, covered, stirring occasionally until thickened and flavors blend 40 minutes.
    Add kidney beans; simmer, covered, for 10 minutes. Serve over rice.
    Top with onions.
