Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (32 oz.) pkg. hash browns
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
    12 oz. grated cheese
    8 oz. sour cream
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 small onion, chopped
    2 c. crushed cornflakes
    1/2 c. melted butter
Preparation
    Place potatoes in 9 x 13-inch dish.
    Mix next 6 ingredients; pour over potatoes.
    Top with crushed flakes; dribble melted butter over all.
    Bake 45 minutes uncovered at 350\u00b0.
