Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. butter
1 c. light corn syrup
3 c. raw peanuts
3 tsp. soda
Preparation

Bring sugar, water and syrup to soft ball stage (240\u00b0).
Add peanuts and stir until light brown to 300\u00b0.
Remove from fire and add salt, soda and butter.
Stir until mixed thoroughly and pour on buttered cookie sheet.
