Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 sticks oleo
    1 box dark brown sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. ginger
    2 c. plain flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, except buttermilk and eggs, until crumbly; save 1/2 cup.
    Add buttermilk and eggs to remaining ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Pour into greased and floured pan. Sprinkle the 1/2 cup mixture on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Good with lemon sauce.
