Crunchie Pecan Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. melted butter
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 tsp. almond flavoring
    2 c.sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine butter, sugars, egg and flavoring; beat about 3 minutes. Sift dry ingredients and add to sugar mixture. Add pecans and stir in. Shape in long roll. Chill several hours. Slice thin and bake on ungreased tin at 400\u00b0 for about 10 minutes. Dough will keep in refrigerator several weeks. Makes 3 dozen.
