Apple Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Cup flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 Cup sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
5 tbsp. shortening
3/4 Cup milk
enough apple to cover dough
Preparation

Sift and measure flour, salt, sugar and baking powder.
Cut the shortening into the flour mixture until it resembles a coarse meal.
Add milk and stir with fork until stiff dough is formed. Turn onto lightly floured board and knead 20 seconds to shape. Roll dough lightly 1/2 inch thick into a rectangular shape.
