Chocolate Dipped Snowballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. unsweetened shredded coconut
    1 tbsp. plus 2 tsp. cornstarch
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 tbsp. butter, cut in pieces
    1/4 c. light corn syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 egg whites lightly beaten
    5 oz., about 1 c., semisweet or Merken's wafer dark chocolate
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0. Butter and flour baking sheet.
    In med. bowl combine coconut and cornstarch, set aside.
