All-Game Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. bread crumbs, dry or day-old bread
    1 c. finely cut celery, leaves and stems
    2 medium onions, finely cut
    3/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
    1/2 tsp. salt *
    1/4 tsp. dried savory
    1/8 tsp. powdered rosemary
    2 1/4 c. beef broth
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Clean meat good of all blood, then soak overnight in cold salt water.
    Drain good next morning.
    Then flour, salt and pepper good.
    (All may be mixed together.)
    Brown in deep fat in skillet for about a half hour, making sure both sides are good and brown, then take squirrel and put in a roaster, adding garlic, either powder or solid form.
