Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
1/2 c. water and fig juice
2 Tbsp. grated lemon rind
1/3 c. lemon juice
1 c. canned figs, chopped
1 can (6) biscuits
Preparation

Combine first 6 ingredients and cook slowly until thick.
Cool. Roll biscuits as thin as possible.
Place a tablespoon of mixture on half of the biscuit.
Moisten edges and fold other half over the filling.
Pinch edges together; prick top.
Place in hot oven at 450\u00b0.
Brown as you would biscuits.
Makes 6 servings.
