Green Wonder Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can French-cut green beans, drained
    1 can English peas, drained
    1 can Chop Suey vegetables, drained
    1 flat can water chestnuts, drained
    3 medium green onions
    1 can Shoepeg corn, drained
Preparation
    Put vegetables in bowl and mix together 1 cup sugar and 3/4 cup vinegar, 1 1/2 cups thinly sliced celery and 1 teaspoon salt. Mix all together and pour over vegetables, stir and refrigerate overnight in covered container.
