Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. strawberries
2 eggs whites
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. whipping cream, whipped or Cool Whip
Preparation

In jelly roll pan stir melted butter and brown sugar.
With fork mix in flour and nuts.
Distribute over bottom of pan (crumbs).
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes, stirring once.
Let cool.
Prepare fruit.
In large mixing bowl beat egg whites to soft peaks, gradually adding the 1 cup sugar.
Add strawberries along with lemon juice.
Beat on high speed until triple in volume and stiff peaks form (about 20 minutes).
Fold in whipped cream. Arrange part of crumb mixture on bottom of 12 x 8-inch pan.
Add egg mixture.
Sprinkle remainder of crumbs on top.
Freeze.
