Edith'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 sticks butter
    1/2 c. Crisco
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    5 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift flour and baking powder 3 times and sit aside.
    Cream butter, Crisco and sugar until fluffy.
    Add milk and flour alternately.
    Beat in eggs one at a time.
    Add vanilla.
    Pour into 10-inch tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until brown.
