Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 to 1 1/2 lb. sirloin steak, cubed
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 medium onion, chopped
1 small clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
8 oz. fresh mushrooms
1 beef bouillon cube
1 c. water
1/2 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
noodles or rice
Preparation

In skillet melt butter.
Add chopped onion and cook until slightly soft.
Stir in garlic and cook 1 minute longer.
Add beef cubes and cook until red is gone from meat.
Season with salt and pepper.
Add Worcestershire sauce, bouillon cube and water.
Adjust heat, cover and simmer 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, slice mushrooms and saute in 2 tablespoons butter in another small skillet.
Stir into meat mixture just before serving.
Stir in sour cream.
Heat about 5 minutes.
Do not boil!
Serve over noodles or rice.
