Pecan Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. candied cherries, cut up
1 lb. golden raisins
4 c. flour
2 c. butter
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 lb. candied pineapple, cut up
1 lb. chopped pecans (4 c.)
2 tsp. baking powder
4 tsp. lemon juice
6 large eggs, beaten until thick
Preparation

Mix the fruit and nuts in 1 cup flour.
Cream the butter and lemon juice.
Add sugar gradually.
Add beaten eggs in thirds. Add dry ingredients in fourths.
Add fruit.
Bake at 275\u00b0 for 4 1/2 hours with a pan of water in oven.
